FAR EAST MALLS: ORCHARD CENTRAL FESTIVE 2024- 2025
I was privileged to be involved in the designing and 3D visualisation of Far East Malls: Orchard Central's Festive decorations for 2024– 2025, where I worked from the client’s brief and LINE brand guidelines to develop a cohesive festive environment.
This project required careful interpretation of brand identity, spatial constraints, and user experience, transforming conceptual directions into tangible festive installations. My contribution centred on visualising the design intent through 3D, ensuring alignment between creative vision and on-site execution.

Located at Orchard Central, this project (OC WALKWAY) represents my first exposure to large-scale festive décor within a commercial mall environment. The scale of the project pushed me to consider how festive installations integrate with existing architecture and user circulation.
Working primarily in SketchUp and Adobe software, the design process required architectural thinking, balancing aesthetics, spatial hierarchy, and construction feasibility.
Design decisions balanced visual impact with durability, maintainability, and installation feasibility, ensuring the festive installations adhered to operational and technical guidelines while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic.

Material selection and detailing were developed in consideration of protocol requirements, safety expectations, and site constraints within a commercial mall environment. Design decisions balanced visual impact with durability, maintainability, and installation feasibility, ensuring the festive installations adhered to operational and technical guidelines while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic.
In addition to the main festive installations, I contributed to the design of interior mall décor elements, including a mural wall, ensuring visual continuity across the space. The mural was developed to work cohesively with the larger festive elements, reinforcing a consistent design language and enhancing the overall spatial narrative of the mall.
